Fair Chance builds the capacity of nonprofit organizations that improve the lives of children and youth living in Washington, DCs most underserved communities - Wards 5, 6, 7 and 8 {PDF}.

Fair Chance partners with promising community-based nonprofits serving children, youth and families in Washington, D.C to improve their capacity, strengthen their sustainability, impact and success. Partner Organizations are selected through a competitive application and selection process conducted twice a year.

Since 2002, Fair Chance has helped 57 partner organizations raise more than $2 million in new funds, increase the number of youth they serve by an average of 25%, and expand their programming and impact!
