Fair Chance and Hogan & Hartson LLP Announce Innovative Partnership to Provide Pro Bono Services to Nonprofit Organizations Serving Children & Youth Living In Washington, DC's Most Underserved Communities

Washington, DC / January 28, 2009 -- Fair Chance, the leading capacity-building organization working with nonprofit organizations that improve the lives of children and youth living in Washington, DC's most underserved communities - Wards 5-8 - today announces an innovative partnership with international law firm Hogan & Hartson LLP to provide Fair Chance and all its partner organizations the opportunity to receive world-class pro bono legal services effective immediately.

Hogan & Hartson has long been known in the Washington, DC legal community and beyond for its generous commitment to pro bono legal services for a large number of clients on a wide range of matters, and today's announcement extends that commitment to these promising community-based nonprofits and their leaders. As part of this partnership, Hogan & Hartson has pledged to work with the Fair Chance team to develop useful legal tools and resources for other DC-area nonprofit executive leaders and boards of directors.
