What We Do
Our year long partnerships begin with a comprehensive organizational assessment to identify each organization's strengths, areas of need and goals. A yearlong, highly customized workplan incorporating our eight capacity building service areas is created based on this assessment and forms the basis for mutual work with the Executive Director, the Board and the leadership of our partner organizations.
Fair Chance identifies and partners with promising community-based youth and family organizations in Washington, D.C. Fair Chance works to build sound organizational infrastructure, increase internal capacity, and position each partner organization for long-term self-sustainability, so that they are able to provide more robust and effective programming to their communities.
